"I first met Michael Maxsenti more than a dozen years ago, in the early 2010’s, in the wake of the #occupy movement. I was struck by how Michael, a self-described Reagan Republican, began a thoughtful dialogue with a young man from the #occupy movement, and together they created videos and events to bring all sides together in communion and dialogue. We stayed connected over the years, and in 2022 launched a podcast together, Front and Center: From Political Battlefields to Cooperative Playing Fields. Our collaboration has only reinforced my admiration for Michael as a man of principle, integrity, spiritual depth, kindness and wisdom. As soon as he made his decision to run for Congress, I could see support magnetizing to him, as a sign that others see that congruence as well. I am honored to have him as a friend and colleague, and know that if elected he will bring enlightened common sense to Washington, D.C. and will find practical ways to bridge the divide, and in his words, “put government in the hands of the people.” - Steve Bhaerman, Comedian and author, Spontaneous Evolution with Bruce Lipton, Co-Host Front and Center podcast
