ON THE ISSUES

"With uncompromising integrity, I will uphold the Constitution, honor my conscience, and prioritize the well-being of my constituents. I embrace respectful debate and diverse perspectives as essential for sharpening ideas, fostering understanding, and inspiring innovative solutions to the challenges of our time." - Michael Maxsenti

  • The inequality of economic growth has stripped away opportunities from all, but the privileged few. Once, hard work and a good job meant a good life. Today, even with two incomes, families struggle to afford basic necessities–gas, rent, food, insurance, and more. Our economy has grown, but that growth is hoarded at the top while working Americans are left behind. This is not progress—it’s economic failure.

Modern conveniences have come at the cost of our freedom, trapping Americans in endless work with little reward. Families are priced out of their communities, forced to work multiple jobs just to survive. This is unsustainable. America must return to an economy where hard work leads to prosperity, not just survival.

We need policies that raise wages, lower the cost of living, and restore financial security for the middle class. I am running for Congress to fight for working people—because no one should have to trade their time, health, and freedom just to keep a roof over their head.

  • America’s health crisis is at a tipping point. With over 40% of our population struggling with obesity, diabetes, and hypertension, we must shift from a disease-care system to true healthcare. This is our moonshot moment.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is working to Make America Healthy Again and For All—by transforming food, fitness, air, water, soil, and medicine. In Congress, as your representative, I will spearhead the legislation needed to clean up public health agencies like the CDC, NIH, FDA, and USDA—removing industry-captured officials and restoring integrity.

Our priority? Tackling chronic disease at its root—eliminating toxic additives, pesticide residues, and environmental hazards. We will support millions seeking alternative and complementary medicine and create a system that prioritizes prevention over profit.

This is more than reform—it’s a revolution in the health industry. It’s time to reclaim our well-being and make America the healthiest nation on Earth. Make America Healthy For All starts now.

  • Inflation is crushing families, wages aren’t keeping up, and the cost of everything from food to housing is skyrocketing. Yet, Washington keeps spending money it doesn’t have, piling up debt that weakens our economy, threatens national security and steals from future generations.

This isn’t just bad policy—it’s fiscal malpractice. Career politicians refuse to make the hard choices, choosing short-term political gain over long-term economic stability. If we stay on this path, we face economic collapse, higher taxes, and a weaker America.

    It’s time for bold leadership:

    • Zero-Based Budgeting – Every program must prove its worth.

    • Full Federal Audit – AI-driven oversight to eliminate fraud and inefficiency.

    • Balanced Budget Amendment – Require Washington to spend responsibly.

    • Debt-to-GDP Cap – Set maximum ratio limits to prevent further economic decline.

    • End Inflationary Spending – Require impact review before passing spending bills.

    • No Budget, No Pay – If Congress fails to pass a budget, they forfeit their salaries.

Washington must be held accountable. We cannot afford to wait. I will fight to restore fiscal responsibility and protect the future of all Americans.

  • District 47 is home to some of the best schools in California, with dedicated teachers and engaged parents. But even strong schools must adapt to a changing world. Families deserve more choices, students need better career pathways, and education must remain transparent and accountable.

I will fight for curriculum transparency and stronger parental involvement, ensuring families stay informed and engaged in their children’s education. We must also expand STEM programs, vocational training, and apprenticeships so students can graduate with real-world skills for high-paying careers in technology, healthcare, and the trades.

Higher education should be a gateway to opportunity, not a financial burden. That’s why I support expanding Pell Grants and financial aid for students pursuing trade schools, certificate programs, and emerging fields.

District 47’s students already have a strong foundation—let’s build on it by giving families more choices, expanding career opportunities, and preparing students for the future.

  • America must be a land of opportunity—but immigration must be legal, orderly, and secure. For decades, Congress has failed to act, prioritizing politics over solutions. That must end now.

A broken system fuels crime, chaos, and exploitation. We must secure all points of entry, equip Border Patrol with advanced technology, and enforce the rule of law. Cartels profit from our weakness, flooding our communities with fentanyl and human trafficking victims. We must crack down—mandatory minimums for traffickers, cartel terrorist designations, and expanded U.S.-Mexico task forces.

Legal immigration should work for America. We must modernize the H-1B system, create guest worker programs, and streamline processing times. A merit-based system prioritizing security and economic contributions ensures fairness. DACA recipients also deserve a just, lawful solution.

Congress must stop failing the American people. It’s time to secure our borders, fix legal immigration, and restore order.

  • A thriving economy and a healthy environment are not at odds—they must be pursued together.

Our coastline and the environment are our greatest assets, driving tourism, protecting communities, and connecting us to nature. But economic realities demand that we also secure affordable energy. That’s why we need a commonsense approach: advancing solar, wind, and nuclear while strategically utilizing our domestic oil reserves with strict environmental safeguards.

At the same time, we must fight for federal investment in beach restoration, desalination, and drought relief to secure our coastal communities and water supply. We also stand with the environmental groups working tirelessly to protect our marine and oceanic wildlife, ensuring that energy development does not come at the cost of our delicate ecosystems. Their advocacy is vital in preserving California’s rich biodiversity, and we must work together to implement policies that balance economic growth with environmental responsibility.

By rejecting extreme regulations and embracing smart policies, we can ensure a future where California remains both an environmental leader and an economic powerhouse.

  • For decades, career politicians have lined their pockets while America suffers. They refuse to pass the No Congressional Insider Trading Act, allowing themselves and their families to profit off the laws they write. They ignore the Lifetime Congressional Integrity Act, keeping the revolving door to lobbying wide open. They reject the No Congressional Cronyism Act, ensuring their families stay on corporate payrolls. They block the Fair Elections & Anti-Corruption Act to keep dark money flowing. They won’t even pass the Stop Congressional Profiteering Act, so they can keep making secret stock trades. And worst of all, they refuse the Congressional Accountability Act—because they don’t want to live under the laws they impose on us.

This is corruption. This is why Washington is broken. If they had integrity, these laws would already be in place. It’s time to elect leaders who will pass them and Make America Healthy Again—Healthy for ALL, starting with our government.

  • In 2026, we will mark 250 years of American democracy—a milestone that calls for reflection and renewal. While our nation has led the world in innovation, our government has fallen behind. It’s time for a major update to make it more efficient, transparent, and accountable to the people.

With proven business and community leadership, I know how to implement real solutions. Citizen Assemblies can give everyday Americans—not just career politicians—a voice in policy making. AI-powered engagement platforms will keep you informed on legislation and ensure your feedback shapes decisions.

To strengthen our democracy, we must modernize elections with blockchain voting, providing a secure, accessible system for all, including military personnel and those in remote areas. We must also streamline government services, creating one-stop digital portals for taxes, benefits, and permits—just as Estonia has successfully done.

This isn’t about politics; it’s about working together to create a government that truly serves its people. As we approach our nation’s 250th anniversary, let’s embrace innovation and collaboration to build a government ready for the next century.
